Getting ready for Oz

As I get ready to embark on a long journey to Australia and through medical school I have decided to keep my lovely friends and family informed on my whereabouts via this blog :) Im so excited to embark on this new chapter and am so thankful for all of the love and support from everyone around me.

So this is where I update everyone on my progress. I received my acceptance into the UQ/ochsner program in October and since then have been through a whirlwind of paperwork, finances, and visas. My mom and I fly off to Brisbane, Australia the day after Christmas and we are getting ready for some fun in the sun as its the middle of the summer there.

My sister got me a stuffed koala for my birthday that I absolutely LOVE so get ready for some cute pics of Lula Mae (my stuffed koala) helping me get ready for my adventures :)
