Australianisms 2

Australianisms 2:
- "yeah" at the end of a phrase is very common
- paper has 7 holes instead of three here
- planners are called "diaries"
- cars drive on the left therefore people walk on the left. This makes it very hard for an american to walk down the street.
- some crosswalks here are four ways as in you can walk across the intersection diagonally
- shrimp are called prawns
- Australians watch a lot of American news.
- They also watch a lot of cricket

Planner/Diary

  1. 7-hole paper is pretty scary and un-useful, you should probably move back because of that. just sayin'

  2. I agree with Lauren about the paper! I,d probably try to string things through the holes. like twine or ribbon. then put a bird on it.

do they also call shrimp "shrimps?"

Is the European financial crisis a big deal down there? like it's probably the end of the world here?
